Throughout June, stations found primetime success with APT Syndication’s four-episode series THE HOUSE OF WINDSOR. WTVS/Detroit aired a three-episode marathon on June 16, building the audience with each consecutive airing. The series grew from an earnest 0.9 start at 8:00 p.m. to a 2.0 at 9:00 p.m.,
ending the night with an impressive 2.2 at 10:00 p.m. The later two airings scored the third and fourth highest rating of the night system wide. KPBS/San Diego chose to split the NOVA/Frontline feed with THE HOUSE OF WINDSOR on June 1, helping raise the station’s primetime average by a substantial amount – from
a 0.6 to a 1.1. The KPBS THE HOUSE OF WINDSOR airing earned the fifth
highest of the night system wide – a 2.1
