Globe Trekker Continues Its Steady Ratings

GLOBE TREKKER has been a consistent ratings winner for APT a top performer that not only helps stations ensure their ratings are maintained throughout a daypart, but also frequently helps push the station average higher. KOPB/Portland typically schedules this program as a lead-in to its Saturday night Britcom block with great success. On Aug. 12, PubTV noted: Tonight’s winner among stations was habitual ratings leader KOPB, Portland, Oregon, which started out with a GLOBE TREKKER on the Arab Gulf states and continued with Britcoms that didn’t flag until the last half-hour.

Over the course of August, GLOBE TREKKER averaged a 1.3 over 53 primetime plays, earned APT’s highest-rated individual program of the month with a 4.2 on KOPB, made PUBTV’s list of top 20 primetime shows three out of four weeks and became APT’s highest-rated show in primetime eight times.
