Description
Luciano Pavarotti was the rare artist who could easily bridge the divide between classical and popular music. Together with an impressive roster of the best-known names in rock, pop and jazz, the great tenor entertained millions of people around the world with his "Pavarotti & Friends" charity concerts in his home town of Modena, Italy. The concerts raised money for several UN causes, including victims of war and civil unrest in Bosnia, Guatemala, Kosovo and Iraq. A number of these performances were seen on public television. PAVAROTTI - THE DUETS is a compilation of the best of these songs, including some of the most emotional and world-famous pieces from the entire "Pavarotti & Friends" series.
