Description
Season six of ROADTRIP NATION follows two teams of students – one from Australia and one from the United States – as they trek halfway across the world. Over the course of nine episodes and more than 30 interviews, the roadtrippers gain insights and perspectives from a wide range of inspirational leaders about following their passions and realizing their dreams. Ray, Fawna and Allison, three Americans, journey to New Zealand, where they spend four weeks traveling in a camper van, interviewing New Zealanders from all walks of life, including mountaineer Peter Hillary (Sir Edmund's son), one of New Zealand's hip-hop pioneers and a pair of organic wine-makers. Meanwhile, three Australians – Camilla, Mariana and Su-Yin – embark on a six-week RV journey through the United States, where they meet members of the band Switchfoot, visit the CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and sit down with renowned inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil. |
