The eagerly anticipated fifth season of BALLYKISSANGEL continues to follow the quirky inhabitants of the tiny, charming Irish town. The Dooleys, proprietors of Fitzgerald's Pub, return, as do bungling handymen Liam and Donal, best friends and parents Siobhan and Brendan, gossipy Kathleen, Father Mac and Garda Frankie. A new foreign priest, Father Vincent, shakes up the tranquil community, and newcomers Edso and Avril (played by Susannah Doyle, daughter of the late Tony Doyle, who played Brian Quigley) bring fresh drama to the town.
