Adrian’s journey starts at Slieve League on the wild Atlantic coast in County Donegal. He tours the enchanting landscape of Glenveagh National Park before heading to his hometown in County Fermanagh, one-third of which is covered by rivers. After reliving cherished childhood memories, he’s put to work at an oyster farm in Carlingford and ends at Newgrange, an awe-inspiring Neolithic passage tomb.

Chef Tom Kerridge shows Adrian around his sprawling 18th-century estate, before preparing a feast using ingredients picked on the grounds. Afterward, Adrian heads to Howth to meet artist Jim Fitzpatrick, who created the iconic two-tone portrait of Che Guevara. Then a scenic rail journey along the coast takes him to Powerscourt and the medieval monastic site at Glendalough.
