Emmy® Award-winning travel host, producer and dancer Mickela Mallozzi is back with a second season of the travel series BARE FEET IN NYC WITH MICKELA MALLOZZI. This time, Mickela takes viewers on a cultural journey through her own city of New York, discovering the dance and music traditions of the many New Yorkers in their vibrant and culturally rich neighborhoods. Mickela kicks off the new season in Manhattan's Chinatown during the festive Chinese Lunar New Year, and then in preparation for Dia de los Muertos in the Mexican community, learns traditional folk dance and even jumps in with an all-female mariachi band. Later, she's transported to Haiti via the streets of Flatbush, Brooklyn with drum lessons, dance classes, and visits to local shops. Mickela also gets a taste of New York’s rich Jewish heritage through an Israeli folk dance at the 92nd Street Y and a sampling of knishes on the Lower East Side.
