IN THE AMERICAS WITH DAVID YETMAN showcases the landscapes, peoples and history
of North and South America — from the coldest towns in Canada to the tropical
islands of the Caribbean. This season, host David Yetman (The Desert Speaks)
visits Lake Superior's remote national park, Isle Royale, joins in the
celebration at a Brazilian carnival, learns about Colombian coffee at the
source, and marvels at lakes and sand dunes so vast they create their own
climate. Along the way, he meets natives and immigrants, islanders and
mainlanders, pastoralists and city-dwellers, including descendants of Aztecs.
