LIFE AFTER LIBERATION – HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS IN POST-WAR GERMANY tells the stories of Shoah survivors liberated near Landsberg am Lech, in southern Germany, and later housed in the Displaced Persons (DP) camp in the town. The survivors tell of the fate of their families and their attempts to rebuild their lives. The program also highlights the global political focus on the DP camps, Germany's attempt at self-exoneration following the war, and Helga and Manfred Deiler’s work in creating a proper memorial in the town.
