MAKE48 immerses the viewer in the invention process from idea to store shelf.
In season four, 10 teams showcasing a diverse range of ages, hometowns,
backgrounds and experience gather at the state-of-the-art Science City Maker
Space in Kansas City, Mo., to compete in a real-life invention competition. In
48 hours, each team must brainstorm a product idea, make a prototype and pitch
it to a team of expert judges, for a chance to win the funding to bring their
product to the marketplace.
