In the second season of URBAN CONVERSION, viewers follow conservative entrepreneur Rodman Schley and his wife, eco-enthusiast Gina Schley, as they explore new corners of the wide world of sustainability. In each episode, Rodman seeks to learn more about the green movement in an all-out effort to get on the same page as Gina, who wants their family to lead an eco-friendly, environmentally conscious lifestyle. While Rodman enjoys living with all the modern conveniences of the city, Gina would rather move the family to a simple, low impact life in a rural setting. In the spirit of compromise, Rodman and Gina seek ways to bring the country to the city and begin their own "urban conversion." In season two, the series explores several topics, including food waste and the dumpster diving practice known as "freeganing," upcycled art and fashion, alternative energy, and nature appreciation. Rodman and Gina join Freegan vlogger Ethan Welte for a hands-on demonstration of the good that can be done through gleaning local farmers markets for food banks. The couple also expand their artistic horizons at PalletFest, a festival dedicated to upcycled art and fashion. A global warming skeptic, Rodman has his views put to the test when he visits with climate change expert Casper Ammann.
