Talented student musicians and singers from schools and colleges across the U.S. perform in iconic and historic European venues in YOUTH MUSIC OF THE WORLD Season 2. The repertoire comprises familiar classical and orchestral pieces, and for some performances, professional musicians accompany the students. In addition, episodes include interviews with the students about their experiences visiting a foreign country and sampling different cultures. They describe everything, from driving on the wrong side of the road in Britain to the differences in the food compared to back home in America. Host Bob Bone also introduces and interviews some of the conductors accompanying the students, offering viewers insights into the process from their perspectives.
