The Emmy-winning AMERICA'S HEARTLAND, which began in 2005, celebrates the men and women across the United States who grow the country's crops, raise its livestock, tend its nurseries, and prepare its food.

The 22-part series taps into the national fascination with food and curiosity about unfamiliar places and ways of life, while also exploring the American values of family, hard work and the spirit of independence. AMERICA'S HEARTLAND portrays the worlds of agriculture, horticulture and aquaculture complete with fascinating stories, compelling characters, innovative ideas and enticing travel destinations. It has given hundreds of farm and ranch families across America the opportunity — in their own words — to share their diverse stories of agriculture with consumers, urban and rural alike.
