DESTINATION DETROIT
TV-PG · 1 × 60 min
Producer: Detroit PBS
No city tells the 20th-century American story quite like Detroit. Drawn by the promise of opportunity and industry, families arrived from the South, Appalachia and around the world to build new lives and pursue the American Dream. DESTINATION DETROIT explores this powerful migration story through community voices, history and culture to showcase the hard work, innovative thinking and adventurous spirit of the four million people who call Southeast Michigan home. DESTINATION DETROIT connects the city's past, present and future to the larger American journey as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary.
