IF I COULD STAY / SI PUDIERA QUEDARME

TV-PG · 1 × 60 min

Producer: iNation Media LLC

Set in Denver, Colorado, IF I COULD STAY / SI PUDIERA QUEDARME follows undocumented mothers Jeanette and Ingrid as they face deportation and the threat of being separated from their young children. In a life-altering decision, they seek sanctuary inside local churches to defy U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and fight to keep their families together. Filmed over five emotionally charged years, their journey unfolds amid constant uncertainty, legal battles and the quiet bravery of life in refuge. As their struggle deepens, their courage inspires unexpected alliances within the predominantly white faith communities that shelter them. The film is both a moving testament to a mother's love and a celebration of the transformation that occurs when communities stand together for justice and humanity.
