MAKE48 is an exciting look at the invention process from idea to store shelf. In this unique series, 12 teams from 12 states compete to develop a new product idea in a designated category, make a prototype and pitch it to a panel of expert judges — all in just 48 hours. Industry A-listers and "tool tech" mentors roam the competition floor and give advice to the teams on all facets of product design and development.
Immersing viewers in the hands-on action of the invention showdown, MAKE48 illuminates the steps and strategies for taking a product from concept to completion.
