RICK STEVES ART OF EUROPE: BEAUTY THROUGH THE AGES

RICK STEVES ART OF EUROPE: BEAUTY THROUGH THE AGES explores the wonder of European art from the High Middle Ages to the modern era with visits to the studios of a painter and a sculptor through a selection of Rick’s favorite "art bites." The half-hour membership special ventures from soaring Gothic cathedrals to the fantastically surreal world of Bosch, guiding viewers through sensuous tapestries and into the revolutionary Renaissance, known for its realism and humanism. The journey then moves on to Rodin’s "Thinker," Monet’s "Water Lilies," Klimt’s "Kiss," and Chagall’s surreal lovers, all from the dawn of our modern age. BEAUTY THROUGH THE AGES is a "bite"-sized exploration of Europe’s incredible art!
