TASTE OF LOUISIANA WITH CHEF JOHN FOLSE & CO., A -- AFTER THE HUNT Season 12

TV-G · 27 × 30 min

Producer: Louisiana Public Broadcasting

World-renowned Cajun and Creole chef John Folse heads into the woods for the 12th chapter of his A TASTE OF LOUISIANA series. The wild-game recipes prepared in the 27-part series — from wild boar and squab (pigeon) to duck and tuna — come straight from the pages of Chef Folse's popular After the Huntcookbook. Each half-hour episode offers both in-studio cooking segments and field trips to hunting camps and outdoor locations throughout Louisiana, a state known as a sportsman's paradise. Throughout, Chef Folse emphasizes the conservation efforts in place to protect the animals and their wild habitats.
